Mindfulness let’s you know what’s going on in your mind without taking the bait and acting on it, says Elisha Goldstein.


Cognitive defusion strategies of redubbing the quality of sound of the voice in your head to a cartoon voice or by ‘thanking the mind’ is also useful, I prefer to sing my inner critical assertions which helps with changing relationship to their impact on my momentary experience.
