11-04-2014 – How Meditation Can Be Dangerous

So many of us, deep down, just want to be seen and acknowledged. Therapy and authentic friendships (which can be hard to come by since so many of us are unaware of our emotional triggers), can be a great source of having our pain understood, validated, and accepted.

Great article from Elisha Goldstein addressing the danger of disassociation in mindfulness & meditation. Mindfulness therapy involved the therapist helping the client to reconnect with their truth – to embrace their vulnerabilities, their suffering in a mindful and compassionate way.
